Cilowong Landfill Site (Draft KP-1)

Beautiful at its best, but worst at the same time.

Picture was taken at Cilowong Landfill Site, Serang City, in Saturday morning (May 2016), when the sun rises. The landfill site has been in use since 1995. It covers an area of 14,2 hectares and was receiving about 990 cubic meters of waste a day from Serang City and Serang Regency. Moreover, tonnes of waste are buried underground at the dump, causing serious water pollution to rice fields nearby. We have a problem with garbage for a long time. We need a long-term strategy, and someone who understand this problem, seriously.
